London offered a huge choice of venues before the London 2012 Olympic Games. The investment in modern hotel stock and sporting arenas The Games demanded, expanded the options massively. London is now a creative playground where energetic event organisers exercise their talents.

Of course, traditional venues are plenty, there are too many to mention. Yet, who could overlook the 19^th Century’s triumphant Alexandra Palace, centred within 196 acres of parkland, this timeless venue accommodates up to 7,250 guests.

London does large well. ExCeL London is 90,000sqm of flexible event spaces, Olympia London’s choices range from 4,000 - 20,000sqm and the Business Design Centre 6,000sqm. That’s not to say venues for smaller gatherings are amiss, just about every street has event space of some kind, the diversity is extensive - groups of all sizes are accommodated.

London is awash with delegate accommodation options, from world icons - The Savoy, The Dorchester and the Lanesborough, to international chains - Accor, Hilton, Starwood and Radisson - all the way down to hostels and bed & breakfasts. Every budget can be met. 

The city’s subway system, "The Underground", though sometimes overcrowded, is a highly efficient way to get to around, supported by a network of red buses and ever-ready black taxis. Additionally, the six international airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead, Luton, London City, and London Southend make London one the world's most accessible cities.
