Hilton hotels are responding to the growing demand for meaningful and sustainable meetings with thoughtful, purpose-led experiences that inspire and connect. Through Hilton’s Meet with Purpose programme, which helps empower customers to opt for sustainable meeting options, Hilton East Midlands Airport, Hilton London Syon Park, DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro, Hilton Cobham, Hilton London Croydon and Hilton Cambridge City Centre are offering experiences that bring teams together while contributing positively to the environment and local communities. From building birdhouses, helping pollinators thrive, providing food to local communities, and exploring local sustainability landmarks, these offerings prove that meetings can be both impactful and engaging. Hilton East Midlands Airport – Rewilding with Birdhouse BuildingHilton East Midlands Airport is inviting meetings and event bookers to opt for a hands-on rewilding project building birdhouses as an add-on for their delegates. Attendees will be able to support rewilding efforts and improve the environment by creating a shelter for local birds. Birdhouses come in a wide variety of designs and help protect birds from predators, keep them warm in the winter and provide a place to raise their young. Hilton London Syon Park – Plan B: Birds, Bees, Bugs & Butterflies Hilton London Syon Park is launching a nature-based team building experience, that can be added to meetings and events agendas held at the hotel. Teams begin by completing a series of eco-themed challenges to earn building materials. The challenges promote teamwork, communication and collaboration. Participants will then make bird food treats and hand-rolled wildflower seed bombs for bees and butterflies. The activity will allow delegates to bond as a team while gaining insights about the environment. Treats can then be taken home to be used in local green spaces to help the environment flourish. DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro – Sustainability Team Building Game DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro is delivering an immersive, strategy-driven team challenge that offers event planners the choice between games to have delegates collaborate to prevent an imaginary natural disaster or compete in groups to build the largest sustainable community. Along the way, delegates will complete tasks, earn resources and watch the consequences of their choices unfold on a giant emissions gauge. Teams must make quick, meaningful decisions that mirror real-world environmental challenges, all while bonding in a high-energy, interactive format. Hilton Cobham – Building for Birds and Bees Hilton Cobham is introducing a nature-themed team building challenge where delegates earn materials through eco-focused activities. Working together, participants will craft bird food treats with perches and roll wildflower seed bombs for bees and butterflies. The experience encourages creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness, leaving each guest with a goodie bag to support pollinators in their own outdoor spaces. Hilton London Croydon – Wellness @ Heart: Feeding the CommunityHilton London Croydon is engaging delegates in a meaningful team building experience that supports families in need across the local area. As part of the Wellness @ Heart initiative, participants can work alongside hotel team members to prepare food donations for local churches and charities. This hands-on activity combines purpose with community connection, allowing delegates to give back while fostering teamwork and compassion. Hilton Cambridge City Centre – Sustainability-Focused Treasure HuntHilton Cambridge City Centre is offering a team building experience that creates a positive impact for the local community – a Cambridge treasure hunt. The route will cover the most famous parts of Cambridge, giving each group a chance to see the best of the city, including the King’s College wildflower meadow, conservation efforts on the River Cam, the University Centre’s radical menu changes and the University’s pioneering scientific endeavours in the fight against climate change. Available for as few as two and up to 100 delegates, this experience lasts from two hours and can be tailored to complement the overall event. Hilton’s Meet with Purpose programme also allows customers to: Gather in a more sustainable way using the Meet with Purpose Checklist to reduce their environmental footprint through informed low-waste choices, measure their impact through the Meeting Impact Calculator, and consider options for offsetting the event’s remaining carbon footprint with Carbon Neutral Meetings. Nourish with climate-conscious menus featuring locally sourced, low-carbon food and beverage options designed to boost energy and minimise food waste.
